Sunday evening was an Easter treat at BB Kings. As I strolled to the front entrance, I noticed the line spanned down the block. Once I reached the front and past the ropes, I spoke with Buck (Showcase Ent.)IMG_0140.JPG about the show. It was an Eclectic Group, Empire Ent., Nitelife Ent., and Showcase Ent. production that brought together the line-up for BB Kings. Tonight consisted of Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Red Cafe, Maino, and Kid Cudi. It was Hosted by “The Voice of New York” Hot 97’s Angie Martinez and Comedian Mike Epps. Music provided by “The Kingpin” DJ Funkmaster Flex and Bobby Trends. I was ready to check it out, so as soon as access was granted I moved inside and downstairs. As I expected, the space was filling in and the party was already gearing up. DJ Bobby Trends was holding down the wheels when I entered. I strolled through enjoying the scene and tunes when I noticed Enisha (Jinglin Baby Ent.) IMG_0150.JPG and her business partner, LaShana IMG_0151.JPG holding it down . Bigga (Nitelife Ent. left )IMG_0152.JPG was lamping with his crew. An Impromptu performance by DJ Webstar rejuvenated the crowd. When DJ Funkmaster Flex jumped onstage with Webstar, the crowd erupted the show had begun. I couldn’t stay long before I dipped out to Touch. My man “Mel Boogs” AKA The Shooter was on the grind and had this for me.

I hit up Touch, and soon after entering I stepped past the bar toward the main dance floor. I hear DJ Self proclaim through the microphone, “They said it was supposed to be empty in here!” It was far from emptyIMG_0179.JPG . With the dance floor crowded, I was shoulder to shoulder for quite some time. I decided that before I catch heat stroke, I should bounce upstairs, so I broke out to the DJ’s Booth. I stepped to the upper level and it was no different. Da Union of “The Prince of New York” DJ SelfIMG_0170.JPG and “Da Bronx bomber” DJ Will, left IMG_0172crop.jpg , had the booth locked down along with DJ WebstarIMG_0171.JPG . - Da Union also does Suzie Wong’s Tuesdays and Body on Friday - As I worked through the crowd I checked Easy (Easy Money Ent.) IMG_0167.JPG as he kicked it, and asked him about Keino (Third Lane) the birthday celebrant. ” He’s downstairs somewhere!” He yelled over the music. As I headed back downstairs I spoke with Rob (Stag Ent.)IMG_0166.JPG and Malik (Stag Ent.)IMG_0169.JPG before I went to great the B-Day boy. Downstairs I finally ran into Keino ( 3rd Lane, center) at his table chilling with Dee (RTC, left )IMG_0175.JPG and their people. “Hef” aka Mr. HefnerIMG_0177.JPG was in the spot kicking it and entertaining himself along with friends. Quite a few hot little ladies in the spot tonight, but my favorite would have to be the ladies with the body paint on200904160630.jpg ..aaaooowww !200904160629.jpg Until next time, I’ll see you in the club.
